- The Automatic Step Cleaner allows for the cleaning of all visible surfaces of escalator steps using its 11 revolving brushes. Cleaning is carried out on the steps in their installed state and cleans both the risers and tread areas in a single operation. Escalators can be used again immediately after completing the cleaning process.
